Broadcasting: Rebecca Birch, Sarah Bowker-Jones, Fritha Jenkins, Adrian Lee, Rob Smith and Laura Wilson

Six artists and one picnic headed to Bradwell-on-Sea for the day. This remote part of the Essex coast sits between a nuclear power station, an eco-Christian community and miles of arable farmland. This landscape of sky and mud became the setting and material for six live broadcasts that were sent out through the project web site using the field broadcast 'pinger'.

The project was part of the Digital Hybridity Research project at The University of Derby and there is a record of our contribution on the blog: http://www2.derby.ac.uk/openstudio/digital-hybridity/tags/118/

Fritha Jenkins reviewed the trip for Art Vehicle: http://www.artvehicle.com/events/303
